Butarkhah infused in Fuado's Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
A delicacy often featured in Mediterranean cuisine, Butarkhah is made from grey mullet roe pouch. It is massaged by hand to eliminate air pockets, dried and cured in sea salt for several weeks. In Lebanon, Butarkhah is sliced and served with raw garlic, immersed in extra virgin olive oil and wrapped with flat bread.
Al dente pasta is perfect with a sprinkle of Butarkhah slices. Before serving, drizzle the Butarkhah-infused extra virgin olive oil generously over the pasta.
